Look what I whipped out in an hour!

On the fiskars Aussie and NZ site this month they have a challenge - Circles! I've been meaning to scrapbook more of my 21st photos and this challenge has fitted in well with one of my photos, I have a realt tendency to rush my scrapbooking and if I sit down to do a page usually I have it done in an hour or so unless it drives me crazy and I have to leave it alone for a few days before I do more harm then good! So anyway here is a photo from my 21st dinner at SPQR in Ponsonby in 2007 of myself and my friend Vicki - I love the photos from that night, I felt like a princess!

Challenges

Oh hello! It's mid Tuesday blues (or is that 'I'd rather be at home scrapbooking') then here at work! The spare bedroom is looking messy as with all my scrapbooking stuff everywhere, I'm trying to finish up on two challenges, one on http://fiskarscraft.typepad.com using circles and the other on the nzdares website.... I'm thinking how can I sneak out of the office quietly without anyone noticing? Great thing I guess with no work to be done is that I can troll the internet checking out peoples scrap booking pages and get inspiration!

Whoops!

I've been so busy with my social work placement that scrapbooking has been put to one side, so today I got my brother to help me drag a table up from downstairs and put it in the spare bedroom so that I can make a mess in there and not worry about my room being taken over! I just had a look at NZ Dares and will be attempting this weeks dare... it's good motivation to get scrapping again and its good stress relief I find, plus I love looking at my work over and over!

I won the dare on the number 8 wired website with my entry below!! So exciting, esp as I made it in about an hour and half the day it was due!

I'm very happy as I won a prize from stampin up! of tools and bits and pieces! I love scrapbooking and all this fun, why do I have to work a normal job and not just do this full time???

No.8 Wire Dare 48

I just completed my first 'dare' on the No.8 wire website, I'm so excitied, all these challenges on the net and fun stuff to do!!!

So heres my attempt, it's of my old horse Angel and I galloping along the beach waaaay back in 2002!

Ok I kind of lie, I've done a few bits here and there over the last few years, however this is an album I've been quietly working away at. I can say it's no where near scrapbook perfection, but I like it and thats the main point seeing as I'll be looking at it all the time! (I am getting annoyed with trying to post my pages as they aren't going in the right order!!) So in back to front order!

This is me at age 22 (this year).. I am working on an album documenting my 20's, something that I bet I'll be looking back at when I'm 40 and wishing I hadn't been so hard on myself:

tomorrow the fun begins..

Mum and I are heading to scrapbookersdelight.co.nz (well the store) to do a class tomorrow morning. Exciting stuff. I haven't been to a class before so I'm quite excitied about getting some 'professional' tution.

I'm keen to do some of their competitions online aswell, must admit of all the hobbies I could have (apart from horses) this is incredibly rewarding and productive. At least I can look at my scrapbooks even when I'm an old lady!

I'm here..

Well here I am. In all my exciting glory! I'm looking forward to meeting many more young (and young at heart) people like myself and making links to other scrapbookers, getting inspiration for life and generally writing whatever comes to my mind!
